Last week fashion illustrator Jennifer Lilya was invited to draw at the YELP Giftacular Holiday Market in association with Lion’esque Style. People were out in droves trying to take advantage of the last full weekend to do their holiday shopping.
This event was a huge success – busy busy day! Jennifer was a trooper, drawing from 12-8pm. Lots of energy and foot traffic on the selling floor where there was a wide selection of clothing, jewelry, accessories, and stationary brands to choose from.
So here’s what set the Lion’esque Style featured brands apart from all the other brands showcased at this event… Customers received a FREE fashion illustration of themselves with their purchase of any gift. How cool is that? Imagine buying a fabulous one-of-a-kind Marla Cielo wallet and marking the occasion in the form of fashion illustration! Jennifer worked her magic giving customers a fun and glamourous keep sake to add to their shopping experience. The night concluded with Jennifer illustrating women who sat for Bobbi Brown makeovers.
People didn’t expect to see live illustrations going on at the YELP Giftacular so it was a great way to get people to stop and check out what was happening. Jennifer also displayed her collection of greeting cards that were also a big hit with shoppers.
Now Jennifer is real popular on Facebook with 8,800+ fans, but now she has one more fan. This little guy was so fasinated watching how the sketches progressed. He might be featured on WYRT one day – never know : )
